Former policeman, Sipho Chonco, has been convicted for the murder of his nurse fiancée in Northdale three years ago and will be sentenced next week in the Pietermaritzburg high court.

He stands convicted of Wendy Dlamini’s murder on April 15, 2018.

The evidence is that Chonco physically and emotionally abused Dlamini who would from time to time leave the home they shared. At the time of her death she was living with her brother in Northdale.
