ANC set to win Msunduzi as DA, IFP say they may not get enough votes to run City

Despite a plethora of problems ranging from internal divisions to lack of funds, the ANC is set to return control of the strategic Msunduzi Municipality in the upcoming municipal elections.

Both the DA and IFP, which are the ANC’s main rivals in the municipality, have conceded that they were unlikely to unseat the ruling party in Msunduzi.

DA provincial leader, Francois Rodgers, whose party is expected to give the ANC a run for its money in the uMngeni Municipality, said the DA’s target was to increase its support in Msunduzi.
