Msunduzi Municipality is battling to generate revenue from billboards mounted around the city.
A report presented to the executive committee (Exco) on Thursday detailed how billboard companies were failing to pay rental fees and at times pay the fees late.
As a result, the City is now mulling over erecting its own billboards, as it currently owns none.
Parents are calling for the indefinite closure of all schools in Phoenix after it was revealed that schools in the area were the “epicentre” for Covid-19 infections.
