Teamwork and a healthy working relationship with the board of directors has earned Msunduzi Municipality entity Safe City an unqualified audit for the 2019/20 financial year.

This was according to its general manager, Lucas Holtzhausen, who was elated that they received a clean bill of health from the Auditor-General (AG).

Holtzhausen also revealed that they had improved from 12 findings in the 2018/19 financial year to five in the financial year under review. This was their fourth consecutive unqualified audit outcome.
