Stop the crime.

That’s the plea from hundreds of Pietermaritzburg Durban University of Technology (DUT) students who marched to Alexandra Road Police Station to hand over a memorandum of their demands on Tuesday.

The students said they have been at the receiving end of crime in the Scottsville area but have not received any progress reports on cases they have reported to the police.
