Despite the chilly weather being experienced in parts of KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday, no snowfall is expected.

Weather forecaster, Wiseman Dlamini, said on Saturday morning that it had snowed on the Lesotho mountains on Friday.

Dlamini added the temperature in Pietermaritzburg is expected to be 17 degrees Celsius on Saturday and it is anticipated to be around 19 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

He added that it should start warming up by Tuesday.

In Durban, temperatures are expected to be between 16 to 22 degrees Celsuis on Saturday and between 16 to 23 degrees Celsuis on Sunday.
