‘I’m a scapegoat’, says former Msunduzi manager Sizwe Hadebe

The Msunduzi council is dilly-dallying around laying criminal charges against the former municipal manager Sizwe Hadebe.

This is the view of opposition parties in Msunduzi, whose councillors have accused the ANC caucus of deliberately delaying the matter in an attempt to protect those implicated in the recent forensic investigation report. But Hadebe on Friday told The Witness he would co-operate with law enforcement agencies when the time comes.

Hadebe parted ways with Msunduzi in August 2019 after being suspended for more than a year over allegations of gross misconduct.
