Magma Risk Solutions has lost in its bid to provide security services in the interim to certain areas in the uMgungundlovu District Municipality.

This comes after the private security company filed an urgent application, seeking an order for it to provide services, until the outcome of arbitration proceedings.

These relate to whether the municipality was entitled to terminate a level service agreement it had with Magma. The agreement was allegedly terminated on July 20.
