Makro has confirmed it will be opening a new warehouse in Pietermaritzburg from October 1.

General manager Rajen Padayachee said the warehouse on 3 Promed Road is a temporary solution until they rebuild the Makro store in Camps Drift that was destroyed during the unrest.

“The warehouse is to maintain continuity with the Makro brand in Pietermaritzburg to service our bulk trader and commercial customers,” said Padayachee.
