Maritzburg College will now be responsible for the upkeep of the sports fields at The Oval and the parks around the school.

The school announced its partnership with Msunduzi Municipality on Thursday, saying they are excited about rejuvenating the precinct.

The college’s estate manager, Ken Hackland, said they aim to uplift the precinct for public use.
