Residents of Msunduzi Ward 38 queue at the Thamboville Hall to vote in ward committee elections.

Despite complaints about nominations and delays in some areas, most of the ward committee elections went ahead in 42 wards across Msunduzi on Saturday.

Eunice Majola, Msunduzi Municipality council speaker, told The Witness on Sunday that elections at most voting stations were completed.

Majola, however, said there were issues reported in Ward 35, which includes Sobantu and Mountain Rise. This resulted in the elections being postponed to a yet to be announced date.
