A Msunduzi Municipality employee who is also the secretary of the South African Municipal Workers Union (Samwu) and accused of doing private work, says he is being victimised.

Linda Gcabashe who is also the director of a DSTV installation company, “Yinhle iMpilo”, said those who have found his side hustle to be a problem must investigate all Msunduzi employees who had secured multiple streams of income by doing private work.

Gcabashe said many Msunduzi employees were doing business on the side to augment their salaries.
