Judge Jerome Mnguni.
Judge Jerome Mnguni.

KwaZulu-Natal high court Judge Jerome Mnguni has not yet been laid to rest, as his wife and family members continue to wrangle over where to bury him.

On Thursday, Pietermaritzburg High Court Judge Carol Sibiya, for the second time, ruled in favour of the judge’s brother, Funulwazi, who is supported by other family members, including Judge Mnguni’s mother and three adult children.

They want the judge to be buried in the family graveyard at Nongoma, while his wife, Nomusa, wants the burial to be held in Pietermaritzburg.
