There are mounting calls for Msunduzi Municipality to enforce a court interdict to stop more people from invading its land in Napierville, near Signal Hill.

“Over the weekend there was a full scale land invasion,” DA councillor, Ross Strachan, said. “The invaders were very aggressive. They were challenging the police and the residents who were trying to negotiate with them.

“It’s not right that just myself and a few public safety officials have to try and sort out these land invasions. We can’t carry on like this,” Strachan added.
