“I did it for my mother and I hope she is proud.”

These are the words of an excited 17-year-old girl from Edendale Technical High School who bagged eight distinctions in her matric results. Ntobeko Masikane from Taylors Halt is the only pupil in her school to get eight distinctions.

Speaking to Weekend Witness she said she has always been focused at school.
