Two neighbours in Townbush have been cleaning and maintaining a local park by themselves since April.

The pair are among dozens of people who have taken it upon themselves to do grass cutting in their communities as Msunduzi Municipality continues to fail to provide the service.

The Townbush resident, who asked not to be named, said the City was now refusing to remove tree branches that had been left behind.
