Pietermaritzburg rugby enthusiast, Angelique O’Reilly, has become the first woman to be appointed as chairperson of a rugby club in the Midlands region.

O’Reilly (36) is the new head of the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Pietermaritzburg rugby outfit.

“I’m very excited about this, it’s a great honour to serve such a huge club,” said O’Reilly.
