Msunduzi Municipality needs over R400 million to replace the electrical infrastructure in Northdale and other areas that has been damaged in recent storms.
This was revealed in a preliminary report on storm damage which was tabled during a special Executive Committee (Exco) meeting on Tuesday.
Tabling the report, Msunduzi Municipality head of electricity Ngangenkosi Mpisi, said the total costs so far at the Northdale primary substation are approximated at R20 million.
