Give us RDP homes or leave us in our shacks.

That is the sentiment from dozens of the Jika Joe shack dwellers who are against the government’s plan to relocate them to temporary housing.

The shack dwellers have bluntly told municipal officials that the planned relocation of about 300 families would not go ahead. They are demanding that the City build them RDP houses.
