Vehicle accessories such as towbars, bullbars and rollbars valued at R100 000 were recovered on Wednesday by police and Magma Security and Investigations in Camperdown. Three people were arrested for being in possession of the stolen items.

Shaheen Suleiman of Magma said that information was received by Camperdown police that vehicle accessory items were going for sale. The serial numbers were reflected as being stolen during a robbery in Westmead, Pinetown.

He said an operation was set up to purchase the stolen items at the Camperdown Spar parking lot. Two men turned up and were arrested.
