A 70-year-old woman is in hospital because her blood pressure simply will not go down due to stress over not being able to bury her husband.

Thandeka Nzuza’s worried daughter, Pretty, told Weekend Witness on Friday that the family is facing an uphill battle to get her father Gogo Nzuza’s body released from a funeral service company in Pietermaritzburg, which also deals with funeral plans and funeral policies.

This is because her 82-year-old father’s girlfriend allegedly insured him with the funeral service, and it doesn’t want to release the body to his own family.
