Imbali Unit 14 residents are living in fear following a surge in robberies by gun-toting gangs in the area.

The residents told Weekend Witness that they were not only robbed on the streets, but criminals also came into their homes and ransacked their belongings while holding them at gunpoint.

This has caused panic and fear in the community, which has appealed for more police visibility in the area.
