Three men who allegedly gang raped a 74-year-old woman at her Sweetwaters home in March last year, were on Monday served with indictments because they will be standing trial in the Pietermaritzburg high court.

The men, who can’t be named as they have not yet pleaded to the charges, are alleged to have raped and murdered Ernestine Zuma at her home.

They are also charged with the gang rape of a 20-year-old woman which also took place at Zuma’s home.
