Eskom says they will continue to implement load reduction in areas around Vulindlela because network overloading is still rife there.
On Wednesday, community members from ward 9 protested over load reduction.
Residents closed the main road, the R617 and other small roads entering and exiting the area with burning tyres, stones and wood.
