A Northdale woman’s backyard has become so waterlogged with wastewater that it is causing structural damage to her house as the water keeps seeping into the foundation.

Sharon Reddy of Regina Road said the wastewater is flowing from an informal settlement behind her house. Tired of the “run around” she has allegedly been given by the municipality, Reddy said that while the City continues to ignore her calls and give her vague answers, she is concerned her property will soon become uninhabitable.

“I have had many people come through my house since complaining about this situation almost two years ago and still to this day nothing has been done.
