KwaZulu-Natal forces loyal to former president Jacob Zuma and ANC secretary general, Ace Magashule, are finalising plans to embark on national protests in support of the two leaders.

They will be targeting “key points” including blocking the national roads and entrances to business hubs.

Their meetings come a week after the ANC National Executive Committee (NEC) gave Zuma and Magashule — both of whom are facing criminal charges — a month’s notice to vacate their positions within the party.
