LETTER:
The Zulu Royal Household is adamant that the late King Goodwill Zwelithini’s BMW 7 series vehicle should not be auctioned off as it should be “kept as part of the cultural heritage” (The Witness, January 11).
I am struggling to understand that statement as us colonialists and settlers are denigrated at every turn and told to go back to Europe, so why is there such a desire to retain what is a poster child for colonialism — a BMW luxury sedan?
