LETTER:

A suggestion that is only slightly tongue-in-cheek: Could our city council perhaps find money to buy generators to keep our traffic lights functioning during Eskom load shedding?

The chaos caused by dead traffic lights at every intersection, block after block, is not only frustrating to thousands of motorists but must result in millions of rands worth of lost productivity.
