Former ANC eMalahleni regional chairperson Arthur Zwane is facing attempted murder charges following the shooting of a security guard.

There has been a twist in the attempted murder case against ANC KwaZulu-Natal senior member, Arthur Zwane, after police arrested the security guard who was allegedly shot by the politician.

Zwane, who is also a former ANC eMalahleni regional chairperson in Newcastle, is currently in police custody after allegedly shooting the security guard who had insisted that he should first sanitise before entering a hardware store in Osizweni, Newcastle.
