Former Comrades Marathon champion Camille Herron is one of the world’s greatest endurance athletes and she has just worked out that she’s clocked a staggering 154 497 kilometres while running.

At this rate, the 39-year-old American phenomenon may well become the youngest person to register 160 000 “lifetime kilometres” by May 2022.

The tall and blonde “Queen of Ultrarunning” won the Comrades in 2017 and has five world records to her name.
