South African golfers associated with the European Tour will get 2022 action up and running in the Middle East this week.

This is while a smaller group of “Saffers” tackle The American Express in California as the U.S. PGA returns to the mainland after two weeks in Hawaii.

More than a dozen hopefuls from “Mzansi” are listed in the field for Thursday’s start of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship at Yas Links Golf Club.
