Jan Korrubel from The Kingfisher in PMB. reports that, while the local weather has been somewhat topsy-turvy, the fish are always there and for those that have been getting out and about, have received their just rewards.
Last week’s cooler weather turned into a blistering day on the public holiday that was voting day — a number of anglers took advantage of the off, got their fishing fix in early, and then did their citizens’ duty later in the day.
One report mentioned that the fishing was so good, they came off the river much later than expected, and shot into the voting station at 8.59 pm to mark their ballot papers; well done to them!
