It has taken a little longer than expected for Rushine de Reuck to get the nod from Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki, but the Maritzburg United star is nevertheless thrilled to be part of the national camp in Durban preparing for Friday’s clash with Sao Tome in the Afcon 2021 qualifying competition.

The reigning PSL defender of the year reckons he is still on a learning mission and any game-time he receives from Ntseki will be much appreciated as part of his bid to become a Bafana Bafana regular and earn a sweet European contract in future.

He said yesterday: “I have always worked hard for this and now to finally get the opportunity is a dream come true. It is exciting to be with guys who have been here before me and to just embrace the whole situation.
