With the Bulls missing crucial game time against the Griquas in the Carling Currie Cup because of Covid-19, the Sharks will be hoping for a win against the Lions on Saturday to gain control of the competition’s log table.

The Sharks and Lions will lodge a huge fight for all-important Currie Cup points when they meet at the Ellis Park in Johannesburg at 7 pm on Saturday.

The cancellation of the Griquas v Bulls match after positive cases were identified at the latter team has given the men from Durban a golden chance to minimise the gap at the top of the table.
