AmaZulu announced yesterday that Benni McCarthy will take over the head coaching position at Usuthu with immediate effect.

McCarthy, formerly with Cape Town City, takes over the reins following the voluntary stepping down of former head coach Ayanda Dlamini last week.

The Umlazi-based club say that the appointment of McCarthy signals Usuthu’s intention of securing a top-four finish in the DStv Premiership.
