Low-lying Maritzburg United did not see a need to add to their recent list of signings before the transfer deadline passed on Tuesday night.

This is despite the club having lost their first two matches of the 2021/22 DStv Premiership campaign — against Arrows away and Sekhukhune at home — which has left them in the nether region of the standings.

It’s also despite the promise of fresh funding on its way from the municipality to the local outfit.
