Troubled Maritzburg United are in the process of beefing up their squad, with seasoned midfielder Lucky Baloyi among their targets.

The local outfit say they plan to bring in four players, mostly for attacking areas, to help them stave off relegation in the DStv Premiership this season.

This after they decided to keep under-pressure coach Ernst Middendorp but lost Pietermaritzburg-born striker Bongokuhle Hlongwane to an American side.
