Under-pressure Maritzburg United are planning a big push for the final week of the DStv Premiership season, and they are very hopeful that striker Bongokuhle Hlongwane will make a return from an ankle injury.

Having picked up just one point from their last two outings, coach Ernst Middendorp’s 12th-placed team still need roughly three points from their last two matches next week to avoid relegation.

They visit sixth-placed SuperSport United in Pretoria next Wednesday, June 2, and close the 30-game season against second-placed AmaZulu in a KwaZulu-Natal derby at home on Saturday, June 5.
