Maritzburg United have key midfielder Travis Graham on the injury list but nevertheless plan to upset Orlando Pirates in their season-closing match in Egoli tonight.

A relieved Maritzburg United outfit claim they are fully intent on challenging the sizeable odds that are against them improving their log position when they trade blows with Orlando Pirates in their final DStv Premiership fixture in Gauteng on Tuesday night.

Having moved clear of relegation by beating Baroka 1-0 on home soil on Saturday, and occupying 12th place in the standings, the “Team of Choice” have an opportunity to jump a total of two more positions in today’s 7.30 pm kick-off at Orlando Stadium.

If they can achieve a narrow victory over the Soweto giants in the televised encounter, they will move into 11th place, between Sekhukhune United and Marumo Gallants.
