Danielle ditched, again

Cape Town - Can someone please sponsor Zayn some shorts? Pretty please! This is a family show, isn't it? (Breathe... breathe...) Okay I'm over it.

So neither tribe liked Danielle. Two chops in two episodes. Ouch. And for this week the contestants remained generally injury-free, so there were no lifelines to be handed out. That means Danielle has been comprehensively sacked by the majority of Survivor SA contestants.

Team Rana must be breathing a sigh of relief after Danielle was given a life last week by Sanele, who was deemed medically unfit to carry on in the show. But alas, this week there were no chances, even though it seemed like Nico was going to be axed.

Tribal loyalty saved the restaurateur, despite going into this tribal council with one vote against him. However, Mzi schemed a last-minute plan to vote off Danielle, and everyone obliged. Except Brigitte, who defiantly voted against Mzi. That was quite possibly a dumb move. (advice to the model: never mess with a fisherman.)

But she's overstayed anyway, after surviving the tribal council in the third episode when Jude opted out, and the tribe shifted loyalties and voted for Nico. So clearly Mzi is calling the shots, and Nico has survived another week and Danielle is gone. And now there's no-one to perk everybody up - her sense of humour will be missed.

Even though underdogs Rana clinched this week's immunity challenge and the tribal numbers are even again, Rana has not managed to win a single reward challenge.

Overall, Aguila has won nine out of the 12 challenges, and they suffered the gruelling course for lentils, salt, pepper and coffee.

The producers must be on a tight budget. Next week will be beans. Mind you, everyone is looking so skinny that they will probably kill for beans. Just give Zayn some new shorts first, if you catch my drift.
