Bremen - Trinidad and Tobago flew in here on Sunday for their first ever appearance in the World Cup finals.

The Caribbean squad, coached by Dutchamn Leo Beenhakker, completed their series of warm-ups with a 3-0 defeat to fellow finalists the Czech Republic in Prague on Saturday.

Beenhakker, whose team also suffered friendly defeats to Wales and Slovakia, said: "Our preparatory matches have provided invaluable experience to the players as the bulk of them aren't used to playing at such high speed."

He added: "We don't have any pretensions on this tournament, we're outsiders and we rejoice at the chance of rubbing shoulders with teams from the world's elite but I think we're well prepared and in great form."

Trinidad and Tobago open their World Cup campaign against Sweden on June 10 followed by England five days later and Paraguay on June 20.
