5 TIPS FOR SELF IMPROVEMENT

2016-01-06 07:27

Work on your weaknesses

It is always really difficult to improve on something that you are weak at. It feels like it is an almost impossible task but that’s what makes improving on it so fruitful. It opens up new opportunities and it will make you feel a lot more confident and positive moving forward. “Working with the negative makes for better pictures.” Once you start marking off your weaknesses, you will be amazed at your progression and growth over a rather short period of time. Set small goals towards improving your weaknesses, if for example your weakness is that you are unhappy about your weight. Make sure that your short term goals are stepping stones towards the end goal so start off with losing 2 kgs as (G1) and 4 kgs as (G2) if your end goal is to lose 25 kgs (EG). Self Improvement begins at rectifying your weaknesses

Commercialise your strengths

Use your strengths wisely. Let them play to your advantage. If you are really good at public speaking brand yourself as such. Make your Instagram and Facebook (other social platforms) show your strengths. If you are achieved something worth mentioning on your CV or on a public platform make sure that people know about it. It shows confidence and also a mindset of someone with direction. I always say act your strengths out, business deals as well as many other things are won or lost on your ability to use your strengths to your advantage.

Improve everything

Even if you main goal is say weight loss or to get a more fit body make sure that you improve every other aspect of your life. It is very important that you are a balanced person, it is even more important that your self improvement covers all the major aspects of human life. Academic, Fitness, Health, Spirituality, Economical and Personal growth. Make sure that your self improvement plan covers every aspect of your life and not just one or two parts of it.

Be your biggest critic

I know every single fault of weakness of mine. I know my strengths and I know what I am average at. I know when I have underperformed and I know when I have pushed way beyond my weight. I know when what I need to improve on today, tomorrow, a year from now and what I need to improve on at the age of 40 for example. The point that I am making is analyse everything about yourself. Most importantly make sure that you are bluntly honest with yourself and then find ways of improving any deficits or weaknesses.

START NOW

Simple. Now take a pen and page and plan your self improvement chart. I promise this chart will change your life forever. START NOW! Your happiness starts now!
