A Call to commemorate our fallen heroes...

2014-07-28 08:24

The Ndebele People should be united to bring back the lost patriarch, who was banned from the land of his ancestors, an aftermath of the war between King Lobengula and the Colonial regime. Iqanda le Ngwenya is ready to hatch, the child of the soil is ready to come back home where he belongs with his ancestors. Njube Alban Lobengula kaMzilikazi has been cast away from his people, due to beaurocratic systems that have prevailed against his repatriation.

It is this reason that the Ndebele people should be united in the campaign to repatriate our lost heir and to be buried next to his forefathers at Entumbane gravesite.

King Lobengula Foundation based in Grahamstown has taken the first step in the campaign to return the remains of the family members who are buried at Fingo Village in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape.

This year marks the 120th commemoration after the war of Matabeleland which ended in 1894, that subsequently led to the destruction of the Kingdom of Matabeleland and the alienation of the Khumalo family to a foreign land. United as a Nation (iSizwe) we are able to overcome all obstacles and conquer the unimaginable, it is the reason that the King Lobengula Foundation is calling all the Ndebele people all over the world to participate in the fight to unite our nation. The Ndebele people have long suffered the humiliation and disgrace that befalls a leaderless nation, this year we should see the crocodile’s egg hatched before all nations. It is time the dignity of our people is restored, a collective effort is necessary not only for this ernomous task, but to lead the Ndebele’s to political and economical stability which is a critical factor for the majority of the marginalized communities, especially in the Rural areas of Zimbabwe.

The sovereignty of Zimbabwe led by honorable President Robert Mugabe has the responsibility to rewrite the history that was destroyed by the Colonial regime, and the importance of such a patriotic act will bring mutual relationships with the SADC States. The African continent has a huge task to correct and restore its true identity, it is this reason that all who have vested interest in the history and heritage of the African People should come forth in the aim to promote unity and stability in the continent
