Could A Black Economy Be The Answer To Racist White Capital?

2016-01-21 08:28

If blacks make up 80% of the South African population, then expectedly, they should be in control of 80% of the economy, land and social culture.

Black people were robbed of their land by colonialism, in the process also losing their heritage and economic prosperity. Twenty years after democracy and reconciliation, Black people in the majority remain poor and marginalized.

The White Supremacist System feeds from disadvantaged Black labour and consumerism, but does not adequately reinvest into Black upliftment and empowerment. This system, tagged to a senseless racism towards Black Africans, has not benefited Black people except exploit them.

Ed - What have whites done for this country?.

Black people have neither utilized their Majority Status nor their other advantages to establish their own (black) economy. The aim of creating a ‘Black Economy’ would not be to destroy the dominant western alternative, but rather to balance power in consistency with demography and justice.

One fundamental step in building a Black Economy is for Black South Africans to have a State/Public savings and investment bank. This bank’s utility would be to serve as the primary reserve structure of Black people’s savings, and making funds available for black businesses, black education, and other community initiatives.

Greed has caused a global splurge in the pursuit of self-enrichment and profit, and the subsequent damage of the environment and human health. In developing our Black Economy, we should be guided by humane principles fixated on preservation and an even standard of living, which is what the West has utterly failed to accomplish despite claiming to exemplify advancement and democracy.

The excessive import of goods can be costly for our developing Black Economy, since a great deal of Capitalist surplus benefits the owner; not the customer; not the State and not the employee. The obvious advantage of supporting locally produced goods is that the wealth generated circulates within the country and is reinvested into the local Economy.

Although some goods are currently being produced in South Africa, they are under the ownership of the globalist and capitalist white minority. As the Black Economy expands, the White controlled economy will shrink; with the growth in demand of Black produced goods causing a decline in the demand of White produced goods.

Since the purpose is to generate Black wealth against the dominant White minority capital, our State bank, which uses its organs to invest in black education and business, should be a priority. The aim, with respect to the people’s will, is for the majority and all to live in a convenient environment which doesn’t lack in opportunity and means.

Contrary to the Western system, which makes work a privilege and workers a replaceable commodity, our Black Economy should be centered on generating secure, quality employment. Data should as such be processed to study which sectors currently employ what percentage of the black workforce, and therefore determine how much needs to be invested in order to educate and employ the rest of the Black population.

Although the current system claims to employ a large percentage (±70%) of Black South Africans, a significant percentage of the same workers are earning meagre wages, even though they work for some of the most profitable companies in the country, if not the world.

One of the objectives of building a Black Economy is to create Community/State owned companies which create quality and secure employment for the majority, contrary to the ruthless Western alternative. Production and retail should thus expand to meet the living demands of the greater population, with respect to conservation and sustainability.

People should be educated in their own languages and learn English only as a second language. Municipalities and Provinces where particular ethnic groups originate and reside in a majority should be governed in the groups’ languages, which are also official. We therefore expect for example, Universities, Businesses, and Bureaucracies in the North West Province to officiate in the Setswana language, and a small percentage in English and Afrikaans to accommodate the minorities.

A major turning point against the White Supremacy machinery is in Black People appreciating their identity and culture, in the semblance of Black Consciousness. Black People have understandably grown attached to being ruled by Whites, and sometimes their obsessions, and not the Whiteman, are responsible for their low self-esteem and poverty.

A shocking bulk of the Arts and Culture we consume is foreign western content, which position is illogical for a supposedly proud and culturally rich nation like South Africa. Black people should therefore invest in their own arts and culture, much like what the United States does through its entertainment industry.

In the end, White controlled economy should reflect their minority status, meaning people who make up 10% of the population should likewise own only 10% of the economy. Political freedom, or the right to vote, cannot be equated to freedom in a privatized, capitalist and globalist economy.
