16/10/15 - EMPIRE School Tour

So my national best selling book titled EMPIRE has reached Exclusive Book stores nationwide. If you are near an Exclusive Books store go out and purchase an EMPIRE book. This is all in preparation for the EMPIRE school tour starting in 2016 where we will travel to all provinces in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Egypt to speak to students and young leaders about the importance of self branding, networking and continuous improvement in all aspects of life. Also we will be teaching students about getting over the fear of failure and reaching for their goals and dreams. As an introduction to the School Tour next year we will be spending a few days next week in Alexandra speaking to schools at East Bank High School, Alexandra High and a few others.

16/10/15 - New Lounge Area in Kempton Park

I was on Twitter a few days back and noticed Esibayeni was trending for a good few hours, obviously being a curious young person I wanted to see what does that even mean. Was it a new word used by Fikile Mbabula that made huge waves? Or was it a new campaign that I didn't know about? After reading a few tweets and after visiting their Instagram account. Esibayeni is the next big thing. Situated in Kempton Park on 30 Central Avenue, a few km's from the OR Tambo International Airport, this lounge has everything. A restaurant in the day and a club/lounge area at night with South Africa's finest chefs and some serious acts playing out every single night. They are hosting their annual All White Party Weekend tonight and tomorrow with acts like Vetkuk vs Mahoota, Rulf Gum, Kenny Kunene and Dj Capital.

16/10/15 - We Need More Trevor Noah Success Stories

Black Coffee, Trevor Noah and Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma has really elevated our international recognition this year. The work and talent of these individuals has given South Africa more of a voice on international platforms. I challenge our youth and general public to replicate such international success by working hard at the talents that are given to you by God. We also need to ensure that we support each other and invest in our own county before investing in international acts from the United States or Europe. Good luck to Cassper Nyovest on filling up the Dome and getting a huge collaboration on his new album with The Game. Also a huge congratulations to AKA on winning international awards for South Africa. The biggest shout out goes out to Dj Sbu for watching another one of his mentee's graduate. Your work in South Africa for youth is something we should all be grateful for.

16/10/15 - #WitsFeesWILLFall

Congratulations to the Wits SRC on fighting for our students. Clearly you have the best interest of our students at heart. I fully endorse the campaign and I hope that management in collaboration with the government can find a solution to this problem that is choking our students from the necessary education they deserve. I do believe that Wits as a management only cares about the bottom line and not the needs and interests of students. We cannot call Wits University an academic institution as it does not meet the definition of an institution that has the emotional, academic, social and financial interests of its students at heart. However I do disagree with the concept of holding follow students at ransom, this is a cause of academic exclusion. With examinations around the corner, students need every minute to study and prepare for the upcoming examinations. While fighting against financial exclusion we should be cautious not to allow the protests to cause academic exclusion because of the lack of access for students to leave and enter the university to achieve their academic goals. The settlement is between students and management and not students and students. Nevertheless if that can be rectified, I have to congratulate our student body on a rather perfect protest. The discipline shown to ensure that the protest stays non violent is magnificent. Thank you young lions.
