It was Africans that made America Prosperous!

A question can be asked. If it was not Africa would America have succeeded the way it has succeeded? If it was not the human resources that were uprooted out of Africa would have America succeeded in conquering the great jungles and set up massive plantations? It was Africans who provided husbandry to these plantations: cultivating, uprooting weeds and harvesting. The prosperity of America is largely attributed to Africans. America is Africa. I was delighted when my personal friend Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie published yet another book. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie grew up in Africa in Nigeria. She is well known for authoring such great novels as Purple Hibiscus(2003) and Half of a Yellow Sun (2006), and of the short story collection The Thing around Your Neck(2009). Her new book is simply entitled Americanah. It is a compelling practical tale dealing with social and psychological issues. It tackles an internal tassel of Africans in America seeking to condition America for the better. On the other hand Americanah Chimamanda forcefully illustrate the hard times and difficulties of Africans settling in America. The important thing for Africans is to realize that America is not a strange foreign land. Africans from the very beginning played an indispensable role for its development and prosperity. Americana is an awakening - a rebirth of conscientiousness - African conscientiousness in America. This African conscientiousness has out of necessity gave rise to a cold war. The typical average White person who has been taught to believe that America belongs the white race simply can not accept a different perspective that Africans are by all means part of mainstream America. In Americanah Chimamanda develops personalities out of these two pools and lets these personalities clash and fight but ultimately finding common grounds. These common grounds facilitate totally new thinking that is necessary for moving America forward. Americanah is a story that delights as it teaches.
