No You Don't!

2016-10-13 11:46

No Sir, Mr Head of the NPA.

No you don’t.

Absolutely not.

No chance.

And in case you were wondering:

No siree.

Not going to happen.

No one.

Not a soul.

Not a person

Aside from the President and Hlaudi:

Buys your comment that you weren’t involved in the decision to prosecute the Finance Minister.

And that you are now open to discuss the matter.

It’s not like, just a big misunderstanding.

It’s a big screw up.

Good try though Mr Head of the NPA.

Or not.

You, Sir, have nailed your colours to the mast.

You have made a choice (albeit the wrong one) and you have now the following choices;

- Admit you were placed under pressure by the President to prosecute the Finance Minister and that sold your soul. Just like paying your T.V. license, it’s the right thing to do (or used to be in any event).

- Or you darn well stick to your guns and prosecute the hell out the man.

The one thing you don’t get to do is to remove yourself from the process and to suggest that everyone has a friendly chat about it.

You could have done that earlier.

There was time aplenty.

You knew what the repercussions would be.

Just like they were in August; when the ANC lost the Local Government Election (for all intents and purposes) and when the President decided to punish South Africans for their choices.

And then the Man was somewhere in Africa (with poor cell phone signal so couldn’t get involved).

And just like this week when Thuli Mandonsela’s pressure gets too hot to handle, a diversion is created. And again the Man is somewhere up North where the cell phone signal must be poor (like your decision).

No, Mr. Head of the NPA. You have made your choice and history will not be kind to you.

Unless you stand up and say it like it is.

Like everyone knows it is.

Like you do. Even if you pretend otherwise.

Like Hlaudi (and the President).

Maybe just like the President (not so sure about Hlaudi).

Because he is really odd.
