Old comrades are a problem to the ANC

2015-12-27 06:44

The problem we have inside this ANC is that comrade between the ages 55-75. This comrades brings the following problems:

1. He skipped SA and went to exile at the age of 12 years. This means that this comrade missed formal education and formal employment

2. Since he arrived in exile at the age of 12, this comrade has been depending on the ANC ever since. It is the ANC that bought him underwear, toothbrush, daily meals and blankets

3. Whilst in exile, this comrade suffered. He experienced hunger, hopelessness, disempowerment, you name it. He was angry, bitter and full of resentment. His wife was somewhere else being chowed by others whilst he's also chowing or he himself being chowed.

4. He has never been a father to his kids and family in every sense of the word father. He never spent time with them, he never bought a T-shirt for them. He never sent or brought bread and soup home for the wife and kids to cook. He's never been a breadwinner

4. When this comrade came back from exile in 1990 (now aged 59 years old). He has all these internal and external wounds. The ANC wins elections in 1994 and he becomes a Minister, his first job ever in his entire life

5. As the Minister he earns around R140 000 per month. He has this massive deficit to repair personally in his life, his extended family, wife and kids. Added to this, he must serve 50 million hungry, unemployed and poverty stricken South Africans. Added to that, he must look after a Budget of his Department worth billions, he must spend it working hand in hand with all technical stakeholders (banks, companies, citizens, universities, the international world etc).

6. By 2014, only 19 years shame with him trying to get everything together. Here comes the popular, educated, young, fresh and vibrant 24 year old comrade coming in to serve the ANC post-2014. And for this 24-year-old to realize his service, he must remove this old comrade

7. Since this old comrade has been depending on the ANC since the age of 12. There's nothing else that he is able to do other than being in government through ANC deployment. Without deployment this old comrade would just be unemployable.

8. To stay in government, this old comrade manipulates everything to the core that belongs to the ANC to stay in government. He applies all sorts of tricks, hook and crook to stay up there.

  • He buys branches
  • He gate keeps membership.
  • He's factional.
  • He steals taxpayers money to finance his new lifestyle and that of his family thats beyond the R140 000 per month income.
  • He assassinates opponents.
  • He corrupts the unemployed youth comrades with administrative piece jobs in his space of influence in government so that in return they lobby and campaign with their energy for him to stay in power, killing the dynamism of the youth in the process

There are many documents that the ANC has produced pre-1994 to show that it was ready to govern but I do not think that there was a proper plan in place to prepare for the "old comrade".

Neverthless, in as much as that may be, the fact remains that the old comrade is a serious problem!
