Take a seat, and lets eat

2016-04-29 08:22

With the end of Restaurant week approaching, this year it seems that not many people took on the offer that many restaurants had to share. If you are not familiar with it, it normally happens once a year. Various restaurants take part in showcasing what there establishments have to offer us foodies or just everyday people looking for a good meal.

The week consists of the restaurants hosting an almost set menu, with either a 2 course lunch option for R195.00 or a 3 - course dinner menu for R200. Certain restaurants charge R50 extra per star (depends on the rating), but it is mentioned upfront on the site so that you know what to expect.

It is a fantastic way to try new eateries and venture out to new destinations. I, for one, booked two venues in Pretoria and one in Johannesburg and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food wasn't 100% to what I like, but the experience was definitely worth mentioning. My motto is always, try a place once, and see what its like, you always have the options to try them again for a second chance, or give it a miss.

On that note I will leave you with a few pictures of the dishes I had

Happy eating everyone.
