The Ridiculous England Wales Rugby Match

2015-09-26 23:23

I'm not a sports fan, I don't really know what happens in sports until a global event like the Rugby World Cup sweeps over. I get irritated by the noise and drunken behavior of sport fans. I don't quite get the euphoria as soccer teams win or lose. Why do you cry? Cricket! Oh cricket! What are they doing with those sticks all day long for weeks non stop!!! Bored just thinking about it.

Golf is understandable because of that little hole and little ball. Tennis is ok maybe. Rugby! What is that? Just seems all angry. Very angry men jumping on each other chasing an egg ball.

But wait, how can Wales play England in rugby? Corruption! Imagine Bafana Bafana playing AmaZulu FC in a FIFA World Cup tournament. USA can play Texas or maybe another reluctant state.

Who does Prince Charles of Wales support? Both teams? Or maybe none?

Maybe before I find all this too convenient for the British who win either way, one may actually be starring at a solution for the fraught rugby debate in South Africa. How about asking Orania to field a rugby team to be called Springboks and South Africa gets a new team altogether? Maybe call it Proteas? Use the argument of the Welsh people that rugby is part of their own identity, that way we can double dip too. Orania can bid to host the World Cup and South Africa can host it next time.

I have another idea, we won't make any of the South African kings and chiefs patron heads of any of the two. I mean gogo Elizabeth is head of state for both teams that played last night. Prime Minister Cameron must have needed a double. Do you sheer or yell? And then?

Wales and England farce is ridiculous and I don't get how adults keep this going? How do you enforce division? It's time they let Wales be an independent state or they must not make us non sport fans scratch our heads over what in the hell?

It's either the United Kingdom is united or divided? Or just maybe consciously uncoupled during rugby? This is all too confusing for a bantu education graduate.

So who lost or won last night? A language?
